Documental que trata acerca del sexo no tradicional en general, y del BDSM en particular, en España. Aunque a la hora de la verdad se trata más bien de un documental acerca de Dómina Zara y el BDSM profesional probablemente por la dificultad de conseguir que los no profesionales se pongan delante de la cámara.

En mi opinión es un documental que se puede ver, pero no es imprescindible y a los que lo desconocen todo sobre el BDSM probablemente les deje una idea equivocada.

Sequel to The Claiming of the Sleeping Beauty. Beauty, infatuated with prince Tristan, rebels to be sent away from the Castle to the Village as punishment. There, she is sold at auction to serve at a tavern where she will be educated in love, cruelty, dominance, submission and tenderness.

This time Beauty is almost a secondary character, as the book focus heavily on prince Tristan. This book I found it more interesting than the previous because of the inner develpment of the main characters, who ask themselves and try to know which is the nature of their submission and why, how and until which point they feel fulfilled when submitting. Secondary characters are fleshed up as well, and the erotic scenes are hotter and more varied. There are some interesting twists in the story, too.

I have found that a trend in this series is objectification. With each book we see that the main characters are treated less and less as human beings, and gradually degraded to lesser states.

A spell cast upon a lovely young princess makes her, her parents and the entire castle sleep for acentury, waiting for a Prince that will awaken her. Then, after a century, the Prince comes, dispels the enchantment (not just with a kiss) and claims the Sleeping Beauty to be his servant.

During the travel to the Prince's castle, Beauty is kept naked and humiliated in a variety of ways, which is a mere prologue to the humiliations and abuses she will have to endure (or enjoy) once in the castle.

There princes and princesses, sent by their families as tribute to the rulers of the land, are made sex toys for the amusement of the Court. This way their inner self will grow healthily and they will become good rulers in their own countries.

The Prince becomes very attached to Beauty, which quite pisses his mother the Queen (a sexy Mean Bitch and the absolute ruler of the land). Meanwhile, Beauty becomes aware of her love for the Prince and for prince Alexi, a very handsome and submissive slave prince.


In this fantasy land BDSM (of sorts) is law. Though no consensual (at least at first), irrealistically safe and not completely sane. But I don't think it is an issue in fiction anyway.

Maybe I should have waited to read the complete trilogy to make a review, but I don't know if I will (not soon, at least). The book is quite easy to read, but I found it some boring. Characters are underdeveloped, there is not much of a plot and the author seems obsessed with spanking. Oh, and everyone is so beautiful and so not-really-mean it seemed to me somethink like a BDSM Barbie & Ken medieval world.

If you feel curious about the book let me advice you to borrow it from your local public library instead of buying it. Maybe you will like it if you liked Rice's The Vampire Chronicles or if you enjoy playing toreadores in Vampire: The Masquerade.

Para mí Sade es moralista y filósofo, no escritor de literatura erótica. Demasiado bruto para mi gusto. Tortura, mutilación, asesinato... Como 'American Psycho' pero en la Francia del siglo XVIII y los protagonistas no están locos, sino deslumbrantemente cuerdos. Sade es el filósofo del egoísmo; sus "héroes" filosofan mientras torturan, y se justifican en que la fuerza y el deseo les da el derecho. Lo que hacen lo hacen porque pueden (y les place) y que es lo natural pues, si no fuera ley de Naturaleza, no sería posible hacerlo.

Pasemos a comentar este libro. Es la historia de la educación erótico-filosófica de la joven Eugenia de Mistival, a la que Mme. de Saint-Ange y el caballero de Mirval, su hermano, quieren iniciar en todas las facetas de la lujuria y la perversión. Disponen de la ayuda del sodomita Dolmancé y el jardinero Agustín, de monstruosa verga.
Está compuesta por varios diálogos en los que, entre pentraciones, azotes, felaciones y otras prácticas perversas, los autonombrados instructores de Eugenia la educan en sus ideas sobre religión, política y moral.

Como ya apunté más arriba, Sade no es manjar de mi gusto, y esta novela no fue la excepción. A otros les puede gustar, pero si éste va a ser tu primer contacto con el autor mejor léelo de prestado antes que comprarlo.

Librito de la colección Atrévete... dedicado, como su propio título indica, al bondage. Pretende ser una pequeña guía iniciática a las técnicas y placeres del bondage. Precisa, escrita de forma seria pero con sentido del humor y decorada con útiles ilustraciones.

Incluye una pequeña introducción al shibari y bondage, consejos de seguridad y sobre cómo persuadir/tentar a tu pareja para que participe en el juego, explicaciones sobre el material adecuado y nudos básicos, y algunas ataduras algo más complicadas pero suficientemente sencillas. También nos presenta algunas posturas y "aplicaciones" para las ataduras, minirelatos y escenarios para dar ambiente; terminando con un corto glosario y una bibliografía de que no sé hasta qué punto hay que fiarse, porque la única referencia que conozco de esa lista no me ha parecido muy adecuada.

En conclusión me ha parecido un librito simpático que puede ser muy útil para absolutos principiantes y que los ya iniciados pueden usarlo para regalárselo a los mundanos (quizá como cebo para atraerlos al lado oscuro).

Aviso para navegantes: en la página 57 de la edición española el dibujo 9 está equivocado. De nada.
